Call Out Limit - 5 per year. Cover applies to the member and not to specific vehicles. Additional calls will be charged at £42 each or early renewal of membership.

Attendance resources will be governed by the conditions/circumstances/information provided by the customer at the time of the call in.  Any additional resources found to be necessary may be subject to additional charges.  Please be clear in all circumstances (eg. vehicle overturned) These charges will become payable upon completion of service.

Call outs will be dispatched as quickly as possible (usually within the hour) unless otherwise advised. Out of hours call-outs may take longer.  Cancellation will only be possible prior to the recovery vehicle leaving Kings Auto Centre.  Call out resulting in the recovery vehicle travelling from and returning to Kings Auto Centre will be recorded against the membership record.

Call outs will be prioritised in the order in which they are received however you can expect to you be informed as to expected time of arrival. 

Home assist cover applies to the members registered address (where the vehicle is normally stored) and up to 1/4 mile from that address only. 

Roadside assist cover applies from 1/4 mile distance from members registered address (where vehicle is usually kept) up to 10 miles.

Recovery service cover applies within 10 miles from home address or where the vehicle is usually kept.

Recovery exceeding 10 miles will be charged at £1.00 per mile eg. 6 miles @ £1.00 (£6) represents a round trip of 3 miles outside of and back to the 10 mile limit.

Please ensure that vehicles requiring recovery are readily accessible to recovery vehicles.  Inaccessible vehicles will not be recovered and charges may be applied/callout logged against membership. Recovery prices are based upon a standard pickup from the roadside.  Recovery drivers are not authorised or responsible for unblocking or clearing access to vehicles to be recovered.

In the event that out of hours calls are not answered please leave an answer phone or text message requesting a call back, which will be deal with asap.

Where the customer has Home assist, Roadside assist and Recovery; if the vehicle cannot be repaired by roadside assist then the recovery will be dispatched. If however the recovery unit is on call at the time, the customer will be taken anywhere within the 10 mile radius of their home (or registered address) and the vehicle will be recovered as soon as the recovery vehicle becomes available.

All recoveries attended will be taken to a repair centre of the customer choice (within 10 miles of the registered address or where the vehicle is usually kept).  Any additional mileage required will be charged at the rate of £1.00pm.

Kings Auto Centre reserves the right to refuse any call out which maybe deemed as dangerous to attend. (i.e. severe weather, ice and flooding etc).

Kings Auto Centre reserves the right to cancel the service or abandon a call out if the service is being mistreated.

All service contracts will be paid in full and funds cleared before any call out will be activated.

This service is a 24hr service but excludes the Christmas Day holiday.

Recovery service is available on any car/4x4 and van up to a gross weight of 3500kg and must have secure cargo as Kings Auto Centre are not held accountable for any damage to items inside of the vehicle while vehicle is being loaded, transported or unloaded.

All repairs carried out (i.e. parts and the labour incurred in changing them) are chargeable upon completion.

Extra travelling to collect parts required will be charged at the rate of £1.50 per mile.
